Terms of use

The rules for using Lock-In and this website.

Last updated October 18, 2026

Please read these terms before you lock a deposit. By using Lock-In you agree to them.

1. Who provides Lock-In

Lock-In and this website are provided by Lock-In (@LockInDapp on X), an independent developer based in Ukraine ("we").

2. What Lock-In is

Lock-In is an app that helps you stick to a daily goal. You lock a deposit on a goal. The deposit is held by the Lock-In program on Solana and paid out by the rules described on How deposits work. When you complete the goal, the deposit is available to return to your wallet: exactly the amount you locked. When you don't, the deposit is forfeited. Lock-In pays no bonus, interest or yield.

3. A new app

Lock-In is new. It runs on Solana mainnet with SKR, and the program is still upgradeable by the developer. Each goal takes a deposit within the range the app shows before you lock it (at launch 100 to 10,000 SKR). If something goes wrong we may pause new goals or switch on safe mode. Goals that already exist keep the rules they were created with.

4. Who can use Lock-In

You must be at least 18 and allowed to use crypto tokens and apps like Lock-In where you live. Don't use Lock-In if that isn't allowed in your country or if you are subject to sanctions.

5. Your deposits

  • Before you lock a deposit, the app shows the goal, the schedule, the amount and what happens if you don't complete it. Approving the transaction in your wallet means you accept those rules for that goal.
  • Outcomes are decided by the program from the days recorded on Solana, not case by case. The exception is safe mode, an emergency switch that pauses forfeits and lets you take an active goal's deposit back.
  • A deposit that has already been forfeited can't be returned.
  • Only lock an amount you are prepared to lose if you don't complete the goal.
  • Network fees are paid in SOL to the Solana network, separately from the deposit, and aren't returned with it.

6. Fair use

Step goals rely on step data recorded by your phone or wearable. Faking or manipulating step data, interfering with the app or the program, or exploiting a bug to take funds that aren't yours is not allowed.

7. Your wallet and phone

You are responsible for your wallet, your recovery phrase and your phone. Lock-In never receives your wallet's private key or recovery phrase and can't recover them. The check-in key the app creates on your phone records your days, can send a completed goal's deposit back to your wallet (the program pays it only to you) and pays small network fees from its own balance. If you lose your phone or reinstall the app, you can link a new phone to an active goal with your wallet.

8. Risks

Blockchain software carries risks, including bugs in the app or the program, outages of the Solana network or of services the app connects to, problems with your wallet app, and step data that arrives late or not at all.

9. No advice

Lock-In is a tool for personal commitment. Nothing in the app or on this site is financial, investment, health or medical advice.

Lock-In is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by the Solana network, your wallet, your phone, step data or software bugs, and our total liability for a goal is limited to the amount of its deposit. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine.

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Goals created before a change keep the rules they were created with.
